Make your own information products you never write

If you have an interest in how to make your product – and in particular how to make your own information product then this blog post will definitely help you.

It is important to remember that even if you do want to enjoy making money selling information products and booklets you do not always have to write them yourself. One very simple way to make money with information products you never write is to search out articles in article directories.

Go to a site like ezinearticles.com or goarticles.com and find relevant, well written articles that you put together to create a useful booklet that you give away for free – including affiliate links to relevant products.

You MUST contact each author to let them know how their article is about to be used and you will definitely have to leave their author bio in tact. No messing with author bios if you want to be a professional infopreneur!

If they have an affiliate program then ask for permission to change the link in their author bio from their website to your affiliate link. Most authors are okay with that because they know you are promoting their product.

So here are the steps to make your own product (that you don’t write!) :

1. Do some research and decide on what you want to create a free information product about (find out what is selling well right now – what’s hot)
2. To make your own product you need to decide on the keyword (or words) you want to focus on and include them in the title e.g. How to start a blog, how to create SMART goals
3. Find 20-30 articles on that topic
4. Contact the author for permission to use them. If they have an affiliate program join it and ask them if you can use your affiliate link in their bio. Some will say YES some will say NO. Decide on whether you want to use the ones that say no.
5. Out of those 30 authors maybe 10 might get in touch and give their permission. Only use articles with permission. 7-10 articles are enough to make a great booklet. If all 30 get back to you then create two or three booklets!
6. Put them together, write an introduction and a summary. Include a link to an affiliate product or two at the beginning and end. DO NOT over do it with the links!  Make sure in your introduction you tell people they have your permission to give the ebook away, to add it to their blog and website as long as they do not change any of the content.  If you have your own blog with other free booklets or eguides on it point them back to that too.
7. Get a graphic made to make it look great (optional but worth doing once you have money to do it)
8. Add them to the list of ebook directories I included, to any Yahoo or Google groups you belong to, pass them round on the social networks you go into and find loads of different ways to give them away.
9. Then just repeat the process over and over again.

I hope that is helpful to you. In the next 5 days you can have 10 to 12 free booklets ready to go out without having to write a single word -  Consistent action on a regular basis is what you need.

Create loads of these free ebooks because some will do better than others. Don’t create one and sit and wait for money to flood in to your account. This is all a numbers game, if you have 100 free ebooks out on the net you stand more of a chance than someone who just has one!
